International Conference and workshop to be held at MANUU from August 28 to 30

Hyderabad: A three-day international conference on ‘’Voices of India and Beyond: Mobility, Sustainability, and Technology’’ is being jointly organised by the Department of English, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU); the Centre for Languages and Multicultural Communication, Woxsen University; and the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru; Indian Council Of Social Science Research (ICSSR); and Institute of Eminence, University of Hyderabad.
According to Prof. K Nagendra, Head, Department of English, MANUU the conference is a collaborative effort to explore the contemporary issues in language and literature with regard to diversity, mobility, sustainability, and technology.” The Conference is scheduled from 28th to 30th August, at the campuses of the three universities.
National Workshop: In an another event, a two-Day National Sensitization and Orientation Workshop on the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), National Mentoring Mission (NMM), and National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST) is scheduled to be held on August 29th and 30th, 2024. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is organising the workshop in collaboration with MANUU's School of Education and Training.
Prof. Pankaj Arora, Chairperson of NCTE, will be the chief guest and Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor, MANUU will preside over the programme.
According to Prof. Shaheen A. Shaikh, Head, Department of Education and Training, MANUU, the aim of this workshop is to create awareness about the NMM & NPST and to review the progress made so far.
Distinguished dignitaries and prominent figures in education and administration are attending the workshop.
